The International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures number 15 is an international measure created by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) concerning the need to treat raw Wood Packaging Materials, of a thickness 6mm or greater, used for shipping products between countries worldwide, accordingly stamped with the mark of compliance. The main goal of this measure is to prevent the migration of pests and the spread of diseases internationally which may negatively affect plants, Public Health or ecosystem.
